Get Lagree certified
Twenty hours on the Mega Pro with Senior Master Trainer Maggie O'Brien, flying in from Los Angeles to teach it in person. The official Level 1 certification that lets you teach the method anywhere it's taught.
Who this is for
Four people should be in this room
If you recognize yourself here, you're already qualified. There is no prerequisite certification and no audition to enroll.
You're already in the front row
Three, four, five classes a week. You know the moves, you know the counts, and you've caught yourself silently cueing the person next to you. The only thing between you and the front of the room is twenty hours.
You teach something else
Yoga, barre, spin, strength. You already know how to hold a room. Adding Lagree adds classes to your week and a method that very few instructors in New England are certified to teach.
You want out of the desk
You want work that isn't a screen, hours that fit around your life, and a room full of people who are glad you showed up. This is the shortest credible path into it.
You've been saying "someday"
For a year, maybe two. Certifications like this run in Los Angeles and on Zoom. One is running here, in person, on the machines, in October.
Why it's worth it
What you walk out with
A credential that travels
Official Lagree Level 1 certifies you to teach the method at licensed Lagree studios — here, or anywhere else you end up. It's also the prerequisite for Level 2 and every advanced course after it.
A first look at our schedule
Certifying doesn't guarantee a spot on the schedule. But your two mentorships and your mock class are exactly what we'd want to see, and we hire out of this room first.
A skill almost nobody local has
Lagree is a licensed method taught on patented equipment. Studios can't hire instructors who aren't certified, and there aren't many certified instructors in the Merrimack Valley.
The math on $2,450
Boutique studios in this market pay roughly $35 to $60 a class. Four classes a week puts the certification back in your pocket inside a few months, and everything after that is income you didn't have before. Most people don't teach four classes a week forever. Most people don't need to.
The training
Twenty hours, four days
One live virtual session to ground you in the method, then three days in our Littleton studio on the Mega Pro — cueing, correcting, sequencing and teaching, with Maggie's hands on your form the entire time.
- Training techniquesThe cueing, tempo and transitions that make a class read as Lagree and nothing else.
- The defining principlesEffective time under tension, and the rules that hold every movement to it.
- Megaformer mechanicsSprings, carriage, platforms, cables. How resistance actually moves through the machine.
- Megaformer variationsHow the moves shift across the equipment line, and how to adapt a body to a machine.
- Teaching the scienceTurning the mechanics into a class people come back for.
Your trainer
Maggie O'Brien
Senior Master Trainers are the small group entrusted by Lagree Fitness to certify the people who teach the method. Maggie teaches in Los Angeles alongside the source of it, and she's flying across the country to run this training in person, on our Mega Pros.
Twenty hours of her attention, split twelve ways. That's the whole reason we capped it.

A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your machine. The $1,950 balance splits into three payments of $650, with dates sent in your enrollment confirmation. Same certification, same everything.
Not included: travel, parking, lodging and meals. Friday runs long enough that we build in a lunch break, so bring food or grab something on Great Road.

The questions we get
I've never taught anything. Can I still do this?
Yes. No prior certification is required — not Pilates, not group fitness, nothing. What matters is that you know how a Lagree class feels from the inside. If you're newer to the method, come take a few classes with us before October 7. The training moves fast, and it's better spent learning to teach the method than learning to do it.
Will I actually be able to teach at VIBE?
Certifying doesn't guarantee a spot on our schedule, but it's how our instructors start. Your two mentorships and your mock class are exactly what we'd want to see, and we hire out of this room first. Level 1 also certifies you to teach at licensed Lagree studios anywhere in the world.
Is $2,450 really worth it?
At roughly $35 to $60 a class in this market, four classes a week pays it back inside a few months. It's also the only in-person Level 1 certification running in this region this year — the alternatives are Los Angeles or a Zoom screen, and neither of those puts you on a Mega Pro with a Senior Master Trainer correcting your form.
Do I have to attend all four days?
Yes. Full attendance across all twenty hours is required to certify, and the virtual session on October 7 counts. It isn't optional prework.
Do I need to be certified in Pilates first?
No. Lagree is its own method with its own patented equipment, its own principles and its own certification track. No Pilates background required, no group fitness certification required.
Am I fit enough for this?
If you can get through a Lagree class, you can get through the training. You're learning to teach the method, not to survive it — a large share of the twenty hours is spent watching, cueing, correcting and running practice blocks rather than working out.
What machine will I train on?
The Lagree Mega Pro in our Littleton studio, at 222 Great Road. You'll spend three days on the equipment you'd be teaching on.
Is the deposit refundable?
The $500 deposit is non-refundable. It holds one of twelve machines and covers materials ordered ahead of the training.
What should I bring?
Grip socks — we'll give you a pair — water, a notebook, and food for Friday's break. Wear something you can move in.
I have a question that isn't here.
Email hello@vibehotyoga.com or send us a DM at @vibelagreefitness. We'd rather answer it than have you talk yourself out of it.
Twelve machines
Seven spots left
Twelve trainees, twenty hours, and a Senior Master Trainer flying across the country to be in the room. Reserve yours with the $500 deposit and we'll send everything you need before October 7.
